1: Nick moves away to because he wanted to get away from the middle west and learn bond business.
ReplyDelete2: Nick moves New York, the "West Egg" to be exact. There he goes visit his second cousin Daisy Buchanan who lives just across the river.
3:Gatsby is Nick's neighbor who always watches him but, never thinks to say hello.
4: Tom hits his mistress, Myrtle Wilson, he slaps her when she kept saying Daisy's name.
5:Nick meets outwardly successful people with difficult pasts. In other words, dishonest people "fake".
6: Nick notices that Jordan is a pretty dishonest person who acts different around every person to "fit in better".
7: Gatsby is in love with Daisy since he met her during the war. Gatsby has all these efforts to get close with Daisy like moving close to her, throwing grand parties, ect. while, Daisy seems to be hiding away from Gatsby.
8: Gatsby meets Meyer wolfshiem who fixed the world series.
