Getting to know you

Monday in class we did an assignment that required getting up out of our seats and to some people our comfort zones to talk and get to know our classmates. It was done for a prize which probably got more people to participate since if they did it and tried it could benefit them in the end. It was cool getting to know the way people are or what they like and dislike. Also having to actually talk to classmates and learn some of their names was a good way to get us to be a little more comfortable in the class. I thought it was pretty interesting trying to guess which fact the persons name went under. I knew one of the girls facts got read aloud from my table, and asked everyone but Dana if they had one of their facts read aloud since I thought I knew what she put. Little did I know that one of Dana's facts were read aloud, a fact I had known about her since freshman year, i guess that makes me a little bit of a bad friends. It was something I should have known since she would bust out the splits in the middle of math class which managed to leave us amused every single time. An assignment where we had to get get up and talk to there's was something I would have dreaded doing my Freshman ans some of my sophomore year, but ever since I've become more comfortable talking to people, especially ones I didn't know, I feel better doing things like this which to me is big improvement. More because it can make completing class assignments easier and not as much of a hassle. Moving seats would also be not as dreading as it was back then.Getting comfortable with the people in your table group and only them, not a good idea.
