Essay Rough Draft

Intro:
Plot: The story "The pedestrian" by Ray Bradbur, takes place in the future. A future where the people are glued to technology. Since it was written back when technology wasn't so advanced it was surpirising to see how accuractley he wrote about families, a community attatched to their televisions, slaves to technology. He wrote about the event right after his real life experience where he too was stopped by cops while on a stroll through the street. He put it into words as an eglish writer would, he made his strange encounter into something fun and entertaining to read. He put his thoughts through his writing by including why it would be so weird for someone to be walking during a time of technology. You get may ideas of the way "people" think by how the cop car replies to the characters responses.

SO THIS GUY GOES FOR A WALK

He wrote the story to get his feeling onto paper and express why he felt so that he could be undersood, in a way thats more playful?
The city in november at 8 o'clock paints a pretty clear picture, as he does with most of his words
He writes about a time in the future, a time where cars control the streets and where everyone is a zombie glued onto devices, at this time a tv. For him to write about things are happening now are crazy. The character himself is witty as you'd expect an english writer to be, you see this in his first response to the cop car. His actions are seen as strange and those of someone who needs help, he gets judged for not being married or owning a tv. He also gets judged for taking regular walks around he streets. You see it in the"cops" response to his answers.

THE VALUE OF MY TIME

Something I'm thinking about doing to help me find more time to get the important stuff to do and to have more time to invest more into things that matter is pend way less time on my phone. I know I waste a lot of my time on social media apps and simple entertainment, whether it be Snapchat Instagram, Netflix, Hulu, or Youtube. Those aren't the only things i use but they are my most common ones. I don't often look at my screen time which if you have an iphone you know it to check either your daily, weekly, or monthly activity on your phone, I was a little creeped out by the fact that all your actions are getting pretty much monitered, nothing to hide its jusr a pretty scary to have all your actions recorded. Back to the point my activity log just showed me that I need to start putting more of that time into my school work and more useful things rather than switching between the same 3 apps ever twenty minutes like theirs going to all of sudden be something totally new.
